Chess with Computer 2
White moves first on the Chess with Computer 2 board. Pick black or white and face a computer opponent set to five strength levels, from easy to grandmaster. Lower settings leave room for mistakes. Grandmaster uses the full engine and looks far ahead for tactical replies. A second mode seats two players at the same board for local head-to-head matches. You can also switch the background between black and white, then check separate results for each computer level in the stats screen.
How to play?
Move one piece on each turn according to standard chess rules. Pawns advance forward, knights jump, bishops travel diagonally, rooks control files and ranks, and the queen combines both movement patterns. Kings move one square at a time, with white making the first move of the match. Alternate moves until the opposing king has no legal escape from check. Against the computer, choose a difficulty before the match begins. In two-player mode, pass the move across the same board and continue the duel under the same rules.
