Chess Nuts
Facing a chessboard packed with preset positions, you solve compact checkmate puzzles without racing a clock. In Chess Nuts, every setup asks for a mate within a fixed move limit, giving each puzzle a strict finish line from the first turn. The selection of legal moves stays narrow, so the right continuation comes from reading the position instead of digging through long branches. Diagram-style hints cut away extra lines and point you toward the key pattern. Some solutions ask for a sacrifice, opening the king's cover or sealing off escape squares. That mix of guided logic and real chess ideas suits both practiced players and anyone who likes board-game puzzles.
How to play?
Pick a position and examine the pieces before making the first move, since the board already contains the whole tactical problem. Several candidate actions appear during play, letting you choose from prepared continuations tied to the puzzle. When a sacrifice appears, give up material to break the defense or lure the king into a mating net. With no timer running, pause on any turn and test the line in your head before committing. Finish the sequence inside the stated move count to complete the puzzle and move on to the next layout.
