Halloween Chess

Magic ruled the night. At a Halloween ball, two sorcerers challenged each other in a duel in Halloween Chess. Both could rip the hall apart with raw power, so the witches pushed them toward a safer contest on a board. Guests crowded around, waiting to see whether the dark side or the good side would claim the win.

How to play?

Choose good or dark before the match, then set the difficulty. Your army stands in two rows, with pawns in front and the main pieces behind them. Move each piece by standard chess rules, following its own path and range across the board. Box in the enemy king until no legal escape remains, delivering checkmate.
