Minesweeper Games keep a puzzle classic alive online and for free. The original became part of PC history through early Windows releases. Modern versions still use the same grid-and-number logic, with new visuals and extra modes added on top.

The board is a flat square grid made of small cells. Reveal every safe cell and avoid the ones with mines. A bomb disposal specialist searches the field, reads the clues, and marks dangerous spots with flags. Numbered cells show exactly how many mines touch them. Since a cell can border eight squares, the clues run from 1 to 8. The first click usually uncovers empty space or a few numbers. From there, read patterns, compare nearby clues, and choose the next safe move. One mistake ends the round at once.
