Classic Minesweeper
Old Windows desktops left Minesweeper behind. In Classic Minesweeper, that grid returns in a browser version with three presets and several display options. Beginner uses a smaller board with 10 mines. Classic raises the total to 40. Master packs in 99. A custom setup also lets you set board size and mine count yourself. Extra options change the crane size, adjust the field layout, and switch on a night theme. Empty squares and numbered cells fill the board. Flagged spots mark suspected bombs until the last safe square is uncovered.
How to play?
Pick any square for the first move, then read the result on the board: a bomb ends the round, a number shows how many mines touch that cell across the surrounding eight spaces, and a blank area reveals more room to examine. Numbers point to danger on every side, including diagonals, which helps place flags on risky spots without guessing at random. When doubt remains around one tile, mark it with a question mark and return after more cells reveal fresh information. Finish the board by uncovering every safe cell and tagging all mined squares correctly.
