Minesweeper Windows
Across a rectangular grid, numbers hint at bombs touching nearby squares. Minesweeper Windows brings the classic Windows puzzle online with three preset difficulties plus a custom setup. Beginner uses a smaller board with fewer explosives. Expert gives you much less room for mistakes. Finish the whole field fast to chase a better time.
This puzzle rewards careful reading of the board. Digits from 1 to 6 tell you how many mines sit in the surrounding cells. A numbered tile with all nearby bombs already flagged means the remaining adjacent spaces are safe. Mark suspected danger spots with flags, then work through the rest of the board without hitting a mine.
How to play?
Click any square to begin. Scan the first revealed numbers, then inspect the touching cells around them. Right-click tiles you believe hide bombs to place a flag. Use the number on each revealed square as a fixed rule. A 1 touches one mine. A 2 touches two. When your flags match that total, click the other neighboring tiles to reveal more of the grid. Move from one solved area to the next. Switch to advanced or expert after you finish beginner quickly. Use constructor mode to set your own board size and mine count.
