"Bridge Builder: Crash Test" is a physics-based puzzle game where you have one goal: to build a bridge that can withstand the weight of passing cars, whether there’s a river below, a deep cliff, or uneven terrain. The early levels seem almost elementary, but the further you progress, the more unpredictable the terrain becomes, and the more carefully you have to plan each support. It all runs on realistic physics—the structure either withstands the weight of the vehicles or collapses right before your eyes. Since there’s no single “correct” solution, you can tackle each level in your own way by experimenting with the placement of the beams. You can play right in your browser without installing anything, and the simple controls make the game accessible to all ages, while also developing logical thinking and an understanding of how structures hold up under load.

How to Play?

The game has two modes—the main mode is unlocked from the start, while “Space” mode becomes available after completing all levels of the main mode. At first, the game gives you hints on how to build the bridge correctly so it can support the vehicle’s weight. At the start, the only materials available are wood—used for supports and pillars—and road surface; the car cannot drive directly on the wood. Each level has a three-star challenge, and it’s worth taking the pursuit of the maximum score seriously, since subsequent levels unlock only based on your total number of earned stars. You can always replay a level if you’re not satisfied with your result, and in difficult cases, hints will come to your aid, showing you the correct direction for construction. The further you progress through the levels, the more challenging the tasks become and the wider the range of available materials—over time, steel and cables are added. And the most reliable secret to a sturdy structure is simple: the supports and the bridge’s foundation hold up best when built in the shape of triangles.
