Chess with Computer
A full chessboard waits for your first match in Chess with Computer. This classic strategy game brings the old duel of kings and armies onto the screen without changing its rules. Face a computer rival, test lines of attack, and read the position several moves ahead. One choice shapes the opening before the first piece moves. White gives the first move. Brown hands that move to the opponent. You can also pick a rival that better fits your current level, whether you're learning piece movement or already playing longer tactical games.
How to play?
At the start of the match, the army stands in two ranks, with pawns in front and the major pieces behind them. Plan each move with the king in mind, pushing into enemy space and cutting off escape squares. A pawn can be traded to remove a stronger unit if that exchange opens a direct route to checkmate. Computer play punishes rushed decisions, so use the side panel to take back a move, reset the board, or store the current position for later. From the same panel, switch the look of the chessmen and the board if you want a different setup during play.
