Chess Knight (Problem)

A lone knight lands on a chessboard with no other pieces around. In Chess Knight (Problem), a single jumper and its horseshoe trail create the whole puzzle. Each landing stamps one square, and the board allows only one visit there. Cover the entire grid with legal knight moves, or the route stalls before the last marks go down.

How to play?

Pick a 5x5, 8x8, or 10x10 board before moving out. Larger grids leave more ground to cover and tighten the route near the finish. Plan the path to the final jump from the opening move. A run can fail with one or two empty spaces left when no L-shaped landing reaches them.
