Battle Chess

Revived chessmen have stopped obeying the old order. In Battle Chess, a pawn can bring down a king, and lost positions become nasty little combat puzzles. Each round drops your side onto a board packed with enemy troops, asking for a route that breaks through danger and ends in checkmate. The setup looks doomed at first. That's the point. Win enough encounters, and another stage waits, each one built around a tighter sequence and less room for careless moves.

How to play?

Pick a path that lines your fighter up with targets it can actually beat, because equal strength is enough to knock an enemy out in one hit. Stronger pieces won't go down so easily, making bad attacks a fast way to lose position. Since all of your units slide at the same time, one command can save a piece on one side and expose another elsewhere. After a failed attempt, retry the puzzle immediately or skip ahead to the next challenge.
