Chess Master 3D

A full chessboard waits for the first move. Chess Master 3D brings a traditional match into a 3D board game format with lifelike pieces and two ways to play. Sit down with a friend for a local two-player match, or face the computer and test different difficulty settings. Player names can be entered before the round begins, giving each side its own label on the match screen. Piece color is also selectable before play, with white taking the first move. The whole match still comes down to the king. Once checkmate lands, the round ends immediately.

How to play?

Choose the side and set the computer level before placing the board in motion. Pawns line up in front, with the major pieces standing behind them in standard chess order. Move one piece per turn and follow normal chess rules for attacks, defense, and check. White acts first, so that side gets the opening initiative. A bad decision doesn't have to stand. Use the back arrow to reverse one move or even two, then try a different line. Raise the difficulty after a few wins and take on stronger computer play.
