Baseball Mania
Baseball Mania is a game for true baseball fans, where you step up as the batter and try your luck in front of a roaring crowd. Knock out a dozen home runs and show off your skills as the stands erupt. This baseball game does not offer any assistance, with no markers, hints, or aiming zones. Everything depends on your own intuition and reaction. You get ten attempts per round, and the points from each swing are added up for your final score. The scoring system is based on how far the ball travels; the farther you hit it, the more points you earn. A home run that leaves the park gives you the maximum score, while a regular hit that lands inside the field is worth less. After each successful hit, the camera pulls back to show the entire stadium and clearly display the ball's flight path and distance.
How to play?
Step up to home plate with your bat ready. The pitcher on the mound is preparing to throw. As soon as the ball is pitched, you can rely only on your eyes and your reaction. Press the swing button when you feel the timing is right. There are no indicators or visual aids here; you are hitting purely by feel. If your timing is correct, the bat connects with the ball at the perfect point. Made contact? The ball soars over the field, and the view zooms out so you can follow its flight. Watch where it lands and see how many points you earned. Did it clear the outfield fence? That is a home run with maximum reward and the crowd going wild. Missed the ball completely? That attempt is lost, and you get no points, so get ready for the next pitch right away. Use all your chances trying to send each ball as far as possible. When all the pitches are done, you will see the total number of points you scored for the session.
