Pinch Hitter 3 is the third game in the Pinch Hitter baseball series with full career progression. You guide a young prospect through every stage of a pro career, from youth leagues to the majors, proving you deserve the championship. The big change in this game is expanded gameplay; you now handle not just batting, but also base running and fielding. You need real baseball skills in every part of the game if you want to reach the championship and win. Before you get into full games, you have to pass training challenges in each role, showing what you can do as a batter, fielder, and runner. When you earn enough points across all tests, you unlock the full career mode. Your goal is to take your team to the top of the standings by winning every challenge.

How to play?

Your first steps are three training drills. The first test is familiar batting practice. Your job is to hit every pitch as far as you can, ideally knocking it out of the park for a home run. Long, powerful hits give you a higher score for this drill. The second mode focuses on base running. There is a special mechanic here; you have to tap the button over and over, about once a second, to build up your runner's speed. The faster you tap, the faster you sprint to the next base. The key is to reach the base before the fielders get the ball back and tag you out. One mistake and you get stuck on the current base and lose points. The third test checks your fielding. Move your player around the field with the mouse or arrow keys, tracking the ball's flight. You need to position your fielder exactly where the ball will land to make the catch. The more clean catches you make, the better your score. Finish all three training drills with strong results. Your combined score unlocks the main career mode, where you use batting, running, and catching all together in full games to beat your opponents. Climb the standings and lead your team to the top.
