All-Star Baseball

All-Star Baseball is a lighthearted baseball game where teams of cartoon squirrels and turkeys face off on the field. Don't let the animals fool you; they play just like real pros. You play through five innings, switching between pitching and batting. A small minimap in the corner shows every player on the field, with green dots for your team and red dots for the opponents. You only score when your runner makes a full lap around all the bases and returns safely to home plate.

How to play?

When it's your turn to bat, try to smash the ball for a home run. Move the mouse to line your character up with the ball's path. A circle appears in the strike zone in front of the batter, showing where the ball will come in. Click the left mouse button at the moment when the flying ball overlaps that circle. This gives you a clean hit and sends your squirrel or turkey sprinting around the bases. After a successful hit, guide your runner around all the bases and try to reach home before the other team catches the ball and throws it back. Keep an eye on the minimap to see where the red opposing players are so you can judge your chances.

When the roles switch, and you're pitching, a square appears to show the pitching zone. Aim somewhere inside that square so the ball crosses the zone, but try to place it where the batter won't hit it easily. Left click to throw the pitch. If the opponent connects and hits the ball, you instantly take control of the nearest fielder on your team, marked in green on the map. Run to the ball, pick it up, and throw it to the base the red runner hasn't reached yet. A quick reaction stops the runner from completing a full lap and keeps the other team from adding to their score. Play through all five innings and finish with more runs than your opponents to win the game.
