Baseball Jam

Baseball Jam is a fast arcade baseball game where you need to win three rounds against the defense. In each round, you get twenty pitches to hit, and you want to avoid strikes and outs as much as possible. Three outs end the current round early and move you on to the next one. The challenge ramps up with every new round. In the first round there is one fielder on the field, in the second there are two, and in the third a third defender appears. The more opponents there are, the higher the chance someone will catch your hit and turn it into an out. So try to hit the ball high and send it out of the park for a home run to stay safe and score more points. Your batter is already in position, and there is a square in front of him with a mirrored image of the bat to help you aim your swing.

How to play?

Move the mouse along two axes. Left and right move the batter, and up and down change the angle of the bat. When the pitcher throws the ball, press the mouse button to swing. If you time it right, you will land a powerful hit that sends the ball far and earns you a lot of points. High hits that become home runs and cannot be caught are especially valuable.

If you miss the ball completely, it counts as a strike. Three strikes automatically turn into one out. If you connect with the ball but a fielder catches it before it lands, that is also an out with no extra warning. Once you earn three outs, the round ends, no matter how many of your twenty pitches are still left. Watch the positioning of the fielders, especially in the later rounds. Aim where they are not, or hit the ball high enough that they cannot reach it. Finish all three rounds with the maximum score you can.
