Going Going Gone

Going Going Gone takes its name from the classic call baseball announcers use when a ball leaves the park. "The ball is flying, the ball keeps flying, the ball is gone!" is what you hear with every successful home run. In this baseball hitting game, you need to crank out as many long shots as you can while working through a series of levels, each with its own goal. You might have to hit specific targets on the field, reach a set distance, or earn a required number of points. Levels unlock in a fixed order, so if you do not finish the current challenge, you will not be able to move on to the next one. You get ten balls per round to complete the objective.

How to play?

When the pitcher throws the ball, a control meter appears on the screen. Click it and hold the mouse button to set how high your hit will send the ball. The longer you hold, the higher the ball will go after contact. Without letting go of the button, pull the indicator back from the center. An arrow appears that shows the direction and strength of your swing. The arrow length is crucial because the farther you pull it back, the harder you hit and the farther the ball will fly. A short arrow means a weak hit with almost no chance of a home run. Aim the arrow at the targets on the field if the level calls for it, or just aim deep beyond the fence if you need pure distance. Once you have set the power and direction, be ready to release the button a moment after the pitch. If you time the release right, the bat connects and sends the ball along the path you set. Watch it sail out of the stadium and rack up the points you need. Finish the task within your ten attempts to advance.
