Baseball Challenge

Baseball Challenge is a game about the critical moment of the match in the bottom of the ninth inning. There is only one inning left to beat your opponent. For reference: an inning is a period of play in baseball similar to a half in soccer, and there are usually nine such periods. The bottom means the second half of the inning when the home team is batting. The players are already in position. The first challenge is to hit a home run in five attempts. In front of the batter is a rectangle with a target inside showing the approximate area where the ball will land. It is important to understand the term "ball" — this is a bad throw by the pitcher when the ball flies past the batting zone. Four balls in a row for one player give an automatic pass to first base without a hit. You have to pass the challenges one after another for the final victory.

How to play?

Wait for the ball to enter the strike zone inside the rectangle and swing hard. The mechanics of batting work mirror-like horizontally: a swing to the left sends the ball to the right field, a swing to the right sends it to the left. The vertical position of the hit determines the height of the flight. The lower the point of contact between the bat and the ball, the higher it will fly in an arc. The higher you hit, the lower the ball will fly along the ground. Do you see that the ball is flying outside the hitting zone? Don't hit it at all, let it pass to count as a ball for the pitcher. Accumulate four such misses by your opponent and get a free pass to first base. When your player reaches the base and freezes there, assess the situation. Do you think he will make it to the next base while the defenders are fiddling with the ball? Press the run button that appears above his head to send him on a run. You risk losing your player if he gets tagged on the way, but you'll get closer to home. Complete all the challenges in sequence to win the match.
