Bugs Bunny Home Run Derby

Bugs Bunny Home Run Derby is a baseball arcade game with classic Looney Tunes characters. The famous rabbit is the batter, and his four friends take turns pitching to him so he can knock out home runs. Tweety, the yellow canary with a crafty pitching style, is the first to take the mound. Then the other characters step in, each with a unique way of throwing the ball that calls for a different approach. You get ten pitches per round with each pitcher. To unlock the next opponent, you need to hit at least five home runs out of those ten attempts. If you fall short, you have to replay the round against the same character until you get the required number of long hits.

How to play?

Bugs and the pitcher take their places, ready for the match. A square divided into nine sections in a 3x3 grid appears in front of Bugs. Each section marks a possible path the ball can take as it comes past the batter. When the pitcher throws, watch which square the ball is heading toward. It will travel along one of nine trajectories, like the top left corner, the center, the bottom right, or any other part of the grid. As soon as the ball gets as close as possible to the strike zone, click with the mouse on the exact section of the square that matches its path. Bugs will swing his bat at that spot. If you picked the right section and clicked on time, you get a powerful hit that sends the ball over the fence for a home run and adds one point. If you choose the wrong square or click too late, the bat misses, and a strike is counted with no points. Use all ten attempts to try to rack up at least five successful home runs. Pay extra attention when the pitcher changes. Each Looney Tunes character throws differently, with some using fast straight pitches, others putting spin on the ball for a tricky curve, and others changing speed to throw you off. Adjust to each style to finish all the rounds.
