Pinch Hitter: Game Day

Pinch Hitter: Game Day is a game about the fateful day when it is decided whether you will make the main team. You have trained hard while sitting on the bench, and you are finally ready to take the field and prove your skills. First, choose which team to play for and the color of your uniform. You can choose randomly if you don't want to think about it for too long. Direct access to the main game is closed—you need to complete three mini-games as qualifying tests: catching the ball, hitting it, and pitching. The total points scored from all three tests unlock access to a full game. There are two modes to choose from: a simple game for practice or challenges with specific tasks. The game sometimes gives hints to make it easier to pass, so it won't be too difficult to cope. Try to do everything beautifully according to the rules, and the result will not be long in coming.

How to play

The players are positioned, and the pitcher is getting ready to throw. Your task is to try to hit the flying ball as far as possible. In front of the character is a square with a mirror image of the position of your bat for easy aiming. The mouse controls two axes of movement simultaneously. The horizontal axis moves the player left and right along home base. The vertical axis changes the angle of the bat, determining the height at which it will make contact with the ball. When the pitcher throws, choose the moment to swing. Press the button to send the bat towards the ball. Did you set up your position correctly and catch the timing? The ball flies far into the field, scoring points. Complete mini-games to earn points to unlock the main mode. Then choose between free play or challenges with specific goals, such as a certain number of home runs or a minimum distance.
