NxN Rubik's Cube Solver and Simulator

NxN Rubik's Cube Solver and Simulator is an online Rubik's Cube game and tool for the classic 3x3, the 4x4x4, and other NxNxN cubes. Build your own move sequence by rotating faces, or use the color palette to calculate the turns that lead to the solved state. Apply a move sequence, scramble the cube, or snap back to the solved position with one click. The game includes multiple cube sizes: 2x2 Pocket Cube, 3x3 Rubik's Cube, 4x4 Revenge, 5x5 Professor's Cube, and 6x6x6 up to 10x10x10. The first two sizes suit casual players, while the larger cubes are aimed at advanced solvers. You can change the cube rotation speed in the settings. Modes include color selection, solver, pattern selection, scrambling, and reset. This gives you full functionality for scrambling cubes of different sizes, solving them, viewing solutions, and more. You can solve cubes, study algorithms at your own pace, or watch an automatic solution at the slowest speed.

The solver for NxN Rubik's Cube Solver and Simulator finds a solution for the 3x3 Rubik's Cube in about 140 moves using a layer-by-layer method. For 4x4x4 and larger cubes, it first groups centers and edges, then finishes by solving them as a 3x3. Solving a 4x4x4 typically takes about 700 moves. In the Patterns menu, you can choose an effect, and a special mixer with a preset algorithm will appear to build visual patterns on the cube.

How to play?

First, select the cube size from the menu. Work with the cube online by dragging faces and layers with your mouse, or swipe across the screen on a touchscreen device. Rotate the whole cube when needed. Use scroll to zoom in or out. Click the Shuffle button to apply a random scramble, then try to reach the solved state. Drag faces directly or use keyboard controls: lowercase letters mark clockwise turns, uppercase letters mark counterclockwise turns.

If you get stuck, switch to the solver. Enter the cube state manually, use a shuffled state, or fill it via the color palette, and the game will compute a solution. Click the play button to watch the animated solve at your chosen speed, or step through the move list one turn at a time.
