Floppy Rubik's Cube (1×3×3)
The Floppy Rubik's Cube (1×3×3) is a puzzle consisting of the middle layer of a Rubik's Cube, made up of nine cubes in a 3x3 square grid, also known as the "FloppyCube (1×3×3)." It was invented in 2004 by Katsuhiko Okamoto, a Japanese inventor specializing in Rubik's Cube modifications. It has been manufactured by Gentosha Toys since 2009. The Flat Rubik's Cube allows you to rotate the edges independently, creating over three million combinations, but this freedom makes solving it simple. If you're a beginner or want to learn how to solve a real 3x3 Rubik's Cube, then try learning on this simpler, flat cube, which has only one layer.
How to play?
Rotate the edges of the puzzle to move the corner pieces and flip the edges. Start by moving one corner piece to its correct spot, then flip both adjacent edges into the correct position. Continue working your way across the puzzle from both sides, solving adjacent corner pieces until you reach the last piece. Assemble the puzzle so that all pieces are in their correct positions on the 3x3 flat grid.
