Puzzle-Rubik's Cube (6x6x6)
Puzzle-Rubik's Cube (6x6x6) is a large-sized variant inspired by the original Rubik's Cube but not manufactured by the Rubik's brand. It is sometimes called the "V-Cube 6" because V-Cube was the first to begin mass production. The mechanism was invented by Panagiotis Verdes and patented by V-Cube in 2004. Today, it is manufactured by several companies using various mechanisms. This variant is much more challenging than the standard 3x3x3, but enthusiasts and professionals will enjoy solving such a large cube in online play. The puzzle is similar to Rubik's Revenge, except with six pieces per edge instead of four. As with all even-order cubes, the centers can move and do not serve as reference points for solving. The cube consists of eight corner pieces, 48 edge pieces, and 96 center pieces, resulting in 1.57×10¹¹⁶ different combinations. The official solving record is 59.74 seconds.
How to play?
Rotate the cube’s faces, spin it on the game page, and try to solve it while setting a personal best time. Use the reduction method: first group the 4x4 center pieces, then the 4x1 edges, transforming the puzzle into a 3x3x3. Solve it like a regular Rubik’s Cube, taking into account the even-order cases characteristic of even-order cubes. Use the buttons available in the game interface to shuffle and restart the game at any time!
