Domino Maltese Cross
A four-armed layout shapes the table in Domino Maltese Cross. Two to four players draw from a double-six set, and the round begins only with the highest double in hand. Clockwise order follows that opening tile. A deal with no doubles gets thrown back and dealt again. The first double becomes the spinner, blocking expansion until tiles sit on all four sides.
How to play?
Place a matching tile against the spinner’s exposed end. No legal match in the opening phase means drawing one tile from the give. Play that drawn piece at once if it fits; if it doesn’t, pass play clockwise. After all four arms hold one tile, lay a double on each arm before regular block play takes over. Dead hands no longer draw from the burial during that phase. Empty your hand to take the round. A blocked table goes to the player holding the fewest pips. Equal pip totals award no points.
