Domino with a Computer

A table full of numbered tiles sets the pace in Domino with a Computer. Human play meets one, two, or three AI opponents, with matching dot values linking each piece into a growing line. One hand belongs to the player. The rest belong to the computer, reading ahead and making sharp choices. Fresh hands are dealt at the beginning of every round, and the unused set stays aside as the boneyard. The first lead comes from a toss. Later rounds pass the opening move to the seat next to the previous leader.

How to play?

Place any tile to begin the layout. Add the next pieces only at either end, matching halves with the same number of pips. A hand with no legal move must draw from the boneyard until a playable tile appears, though the final two pieces stay untouched. Empty your hand to end the round. Play also stops when no one can place or draw a tile. Round scoring uses pip totals from every other hand, then subtracts the value left in your own. Equal scores between two players leave the round without a winner or points.
