Russian Dominoes
A drawn tile settles the opening move. In Russian Dominoes, a table of two or four players works through rounds with a fixed hand dealt at the beginning, placing numbered pieces into a shared line from either end. Any value may launch the chain. A round closes when one hand is emptied. Play also stops when no seat has a legal tile left. Points come from the winner taking opponents' tile totals and subtracting the value left in the winning hand. Equal scores leave the round without points for anyone.
How to play?
Place a tile to begin the line after the draw decides the first lead. The seat next to the previous leader takes the first move in the following round. Add matching pieces to either side of the train until a hand runs out or the table locks. The hand with no tiles wins the round. A blocked table goes to the lowest score. Matching totals across players end the hand with no winner and no points awarded.
