Domino Rumor

A four-seat table shapes every round in Domino Rumor. Six tiles go to each player from a double-six set, leaving four pieces out of play, and the hand only begins when someone holds the required opening double for the middle. Private lines grow from the four corners of that central double, creating one personal train per seat and a shared rhythm built on matching numbers.

How to play?

Place the opening double in the center, then lay matching dominoes on your own train in clockwise order. Failing a move on that personal line triggers the Rumor rule, with the next player adding a matching tile to the current player's train before making a play on their own line. Playing on the previous player's train does not erase that restriction, and the following seat may still extend the current player's line if no matching piece fits there. Emptying your hand wins the round, and a blocked layout hands victory to the player holding the fewest pips. Round scoring uses pip difference against the other hands, and tied players with the same result receive no points.
