Domino Criss Cross

A cross-shaped layout sets the table. In Domino Criss Cross, a solo domino puzzle uses four lines of play that meet at the middle, with one tile slipping out after the full set is shuffled face down. Any of the four lines may receive the first playable tile, and its orientation may be adjusted to change the exposed number before placement is finalized.

How to play?

Draw tiles one at a time from the stock, placing the current piece on a blank line to begin it or matching it against the exposed end of a line already in play. Played tiles stay locked in place for the rest of the round, which ends the moment the tile in hand fits nowhere on the cross. Selecting a tile in hand highlights every legal position, with rotation still available after moving it onto the layout and before the move is completed.
