Out of Coverage

"Out of Coverage" is a text-based quest with dialogue where you’ll receive messages from characters and help them make decisions. If you enjoy story-driven chat simulators and interactive novels with a tense atmosphere, then this game is definitely for you.

People wake up in different parts of a cold complex and don’t understand how they got there. One sits by a locked door, another tries to figure out a generator, and a third hears noises in a dark corridor and doesn’t know where to go next. They can only contact the outside world through you. Through their messages, it gradually becomes clear that the place is full of traps, locked passages, and strange rooms where any mistake could lead them astray. The story unfolds through correspondence, brief descriptions of the surroundings, and the characters’ own reactions.

How to play?

On the start screen, choose the character you want to communicate with. It can be Artem, Max, Lena, or Vika. Once you’ve made your choice, read the messages and see what the person writes about the room, doors, wires, locks, and items they’ve found. Response options will appear below in the chat. Click on one of them to suggest what to do next: look for a password, search the room, start the generator, or go through another passage. If the decision turns out to be unsuccessful, the character will report that they’ve hit a dead end, been injured, or couldn’t clear the path. Then try another option and return to the conversation with that character or switch to another one. Progress is saved automatically, so you can open another chat at any time and continue helping those who are still looking for a way out.
