"Deluge: Sermon for the Dead" is an atmospheric anime novel in the best tradition of Howard Lovecraft's horror stories. Here you will find yourself back in Abbotsford. In this town, the disappearance of high school girls has shaken all the residents. Ina, a stubborn editor of the school newspaper, asks Abe to help her figure out what's going on. Together, they encounter conspiracies, strange rituals, and people willing to do anything for power. Against the backdrop of the kidnappings, an election campaign is underway. Newcomer Marisa comes to the fore, promising order and peace, but her words hide something dangerous.

How to play?

This is a visual novel with elements of horror, psychological drama, and Lovecraftian motifs, where there are no random decisions and any choice can change the fate of the characters. You control Abe's actions. Read the dialogues, choose your lines, and decide who you can trust. A conversation with Ina, a meeting with residents, or even a glance at Marisa can turn the plot in a different direction. Explore the city's diverse locations, including school corridors, deserted streets, and hidden church halls. Speak with other townspeople and attempt to piece together the mystery of the disappearances. How carefully you act will determine where the story leads. The game offers three different storylines and eight endings. Some are happy, some are tragic, so try other solutions. Your choices will determine whether the characters uncover the truth or remain trapped in a nightmare.
