Shrooms - Adventure

The game “Shrooms - Adventure” (or simply “Shrooms”) is a quirky little platformer about a guy who’s offered a choice: eat one of three hallucinogenic mushrooms—a purple, yellow, or red toadstool. Depending on his choice, the hero ends up in one of three whimsical worlds filled with equally strange enemies, and must progress through them level by level until the very end. Enemies are defeated the classic way—by jumping on them from above—but there are also spiked monsters that are dangerous to jump on; it’s best to avoid them. As you progress through each world, you can collect stars that grant extra lives, and at the end of each world, a special “spikoz” pet is hidden; finding all three—one in each world—is a separate challenge for observant players.

How to Play?

Use the arrow keys to move your character around the level. Choose one of the three mushrooms at the start of the game to enter the corresponding world. Jump on enemies from above to defeat them, but avoid the spiked monsters, which can cost you a life if you land on them. Collect stars along the way to replenish your lives, and try to find the hidden Spichoza pet at the end of each world. Complete all three worlds one after another, conserving your lives as you advance further through the whimsical levels.
