Mushrooms vs Engineers

"Mushrooms vs Engineers" is a top-down arcade shooter in which an engineer faces off against endless hordes of hostile mushrooms. You can choose from a whole roster of engineers, each with their own weapons and a unique set of upgrades. The battle unfolds across several maps, each of which is unlocked as you progress through the game, and on each map you must survive twenty waves before facing the location’s final boss. Defeated mushrooms leave behind spores that you can collect and spend between waves to power up your character. A unique feature of the game is that you partially control the difficulty of the battle yourself by increasing the spawn rate of certain mushroom types, thereby tailoring the challenge to your liking. Enemies are divided into different types, each with its own behavior and abilities: green ones explode into a cloud of poisonous spheres when defeated, while blue ones have a regenerating shield that absorbs a single hit. The game supports local co-op for multiple players, allowing you to fend off the mushroom invasion alongside your friends.

How to Play?

Choose an engineer with a fighting style that suits you—from melee to ranged weapons—and enter the arena. Destroy waves of mushrooms while dodging their attacks and dashing away from dangerous situations, and collect spores and first-aid kits as you battle. Between waves, spend the spores you’ve collected to upgrade your weapons, armor, and character abilities. Adjust the spawn rate of different mushroom types to control the battle’s difficulty as you see fit. Survive all twenty waves on the map and defeat the final boss to unlock the next location and continue your defense against the fungal invasion.
