Mushrooms vs Engineers

In Mushrooms vs Engineers, a top-down arcade shooter, an engineer fights endless hordes of hostile mushrooms. Pick from a roster of engineers with different weapons and their own upgrade sets. Battles take place across several maps that unlock as you progress. Each map has twenty waves, followed by that location's final boss. Defeated mushrooms drop spores. Spend them between waves to strengthen your character. Part of the difficulty is adjustable during battle by raising the spawn rate of specific mushroom types. Green mushrooms burst into a cloud of poisonous spheres when killed. Blue mushrooms carry a regenerating shield that blocks one hit. Local co-op supports multiple players, letting friends fight the mushroom invasion together.

How to play?

Choose an engineer whose combat style fits you, from melee to ranged weapons, then enter the arena. Fight through mushroom waves, dodge incoming attacks, use dash moves to escape danger, and pick up spores plus first-aid kits during combat. Between waves, spend collected spores on weapon upgrades, armor, and character abilities. Raise the spawn rate of different mushroom types to adjust the difficulty. Survive all twenty waves on the current map, beat the final boss, and unlock the next location.
