The Dog and the Mushrooms

"The Dog and the Mushrooms" is an arcade game in which you must help your faithful four-legged friend harvest mushrooms in the forest. There are ten levels in total, and in each one, the dog runs through a clearing looking for mushrooms, but can carry no more than ten at a time in its mouth, so as it collects them, you need to take them and put them in the bucket. The forest isn’t all that safe—a bear roams here that you’d best avoid, a turtle crawls about that can slow you down if you touch it, and a poisonous black mushroom lies in wait, which you absolutely must not touch. If you fail to pick a mushroom or run into a bear, the dog’s health decreases, and along with it, its movement speed drops. If a bear or a turtle gets to the bucket of mushrooms, some of the points you’ve earned will be lost. Bonuses are also scattered across the field: bones restore health, and coins earn extra points.

How to Play?

Use the mouse to move the dog around the playing field, collecting mushrooms as you go. When the dog indicates that its mouth is “full,” immediately take the mushrooms to the bucket and empty its supply. Avoid the bear, and if you encounter a poisonous black mushroom, click on it to destroy it. Touch the turtle to stop it—up to three times per level—or click on it to achieve the same effect. Collect bones to restore health and coins for bonus points, keep track of your lives and score, and complete all ten levels while helping the dog collect as many mushrooms as possible.
