Awesome Mushroom Hunter

The game "Awesome Mushroom Hunter" starts out as a typical mushroom-hunting trip, but the day quickly takes a turn for the worse. The hero suddenly finds himself in a mysterious complex, where he must fight for survival against a malevolent artificial intelligence and hordes of hostile robots. Thus, a harmless hobby turns into a tense platform shooter where you still need to collect mushrooms—but now under crossfire. The hero can perform a double jump, which helps him navigate complex level designs, and he’s armed with several types of weapons that he can switch between on the fly. Along the way, you’ll encounter crates—breaking them reveals useful power-ups, first-aid kits, and ammunition—while scattered hints help you navigate unfamiliar environments. The graphics are rendered in a classic 2D style, and the gameplay itself blends elements of platforming, puzzle-solving, and action in equal measure.

How to Play?

Move using the arrow keys and use the double jump to navigate challenging sections of the level. Aim and shoot with the mouse, switch between available weapons using the arrow keys, and throw grenades at groups of enemies. Break open crates you encounter to find health boosts and weapons, and battle the robots blocking your path. Collect the mushrooms—the very reason your hero ventured into this strange place in the first place—and advance through level after level until you find your way out of the complex.
