Final Fantasy Sonic: New Beginnings

Face off against bandits and powerful bosses while Sonic tries to stay in one piece. In Final Fantasy Sonic: New Beginnings, the story kicks off with a scripted intro that lays out Sonic's conflict with his enemies, then switches into a set of turn-based clashes. Grab weapons, trigger special moves, and wipe out every opponent on the field before they do the same to your team. Early on, a party of heroes runs into a fire dragon that shrugs off regular hits, so they switch to superpowers to survive that encounter. Sonic later jumps into battle against these heroes themselves, and he doesn't hold back on his usual speed and combat tricks. Each hero brings unique abilities into the fight, which makes those matchups tougher than standard Sonic battles. Local two-player modes sit on top of all that, including a separate Sonic X fight setup that lets two people square off on the same device.

How to play?

Watch the opening scenes without skipping if you want to follow who joins the party and who attacks whom in each round. Then pick attacks from the menu, select targets, and confirm hits until the enemy squad drops to zero health. Switch to special powers during the fire dragon encounter, since regular hits won't carry that battle. In two-player fights, pick sides on the same screen, then trade turns while you set up moves for Sonic and the opposing fighter.
