Sonic 3

Run through sky-high stages with Sonic and his friends, smashing Eggman's machines and collecting rings along the way. In Sonic 3, you join Sonic and Tails as they chase Doctor Eggman to a floating island hidden in the clouds. The villain sets up bases there, and he doesn't stay alone. Knuckles the Echidna shows up for the first time, serving as the guardian of this strange island while still following Eggman's orders.

The story plays out across six long zones, each split into two separate acts. Robot monkeys, crab bots, and other mechanical enemies wait along the routes. Some attack from the ground, others from platforms or ledges, and they all protect Eggman's plans. Rings work like a safety buffer during these runs. Hit 100 of them and the game adds an extra life to your stock. Take a hit with no rings left and Sonic or Tails can go down fast.

How to play?

Move forward through every act and jump into opponents to break Eggman's robots. Curl Sonic into his trademark blue ball during a jump to damage enemies on contact. Charge a running spin, then release it to crash through lines of robots or blast across the ground at high speed. Grab gold rings on the way, since they fall out of your character when a robot hits you, and staying ringless leaves the hero vulnerable to the next attack.
