Heavyweight gold sits at the top of the ladder. In the NES Game: Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, a young boxer climbs through a string of preliminary matches to earn a shot at Iron Mike, the feared champion known for fast knockouts and a stare that rattles rivals before the bell.

How to play?

Early bouts decide when the title fight becomes available, and each win moves the boxer closer to Tyson. During a match, throw quick punches that chip away at the opponent without draining much energy, or fire heavy shots that hit harder but burn more stamina. Counterpunches land best when they catch the rival in motion. Gloves pounding into a guard waste the attack. Between bouts, train and upgrade the fighter to push toward all the belts.
