NES Games: Contra Force

Neocity sits under pressure in 1992. In NES Games: Contra Force, a late-night tip pulls the Contra Force unit into a trap tied to the D.N.M.E. syndicate. Burns heads to the meeting point after a call from the informant Fox. Fox is already dead on arrival. The setup points straight at the team, and Burns has to wipe out the false charges linked to the murder. Smith, Iron, and Beans back him up. Each operative carries a different weapon loadout, which changes how gunfights play out across the mission.

How to play?

Pick Burns, Smith, Iron, or Beans before heading into combat, then fight through the streets with that character’s weapon set. Gunfire drives the action in a side-scrolling 2D run-and-gun format, even though the view gives the stages a third-person feel. Battles pile up fast, and each encounter pushes the case forward as the team hunts the syndicate behind the frame-up.
