The Legend of Zelda | NES Game
Hyrule stands under Ganon's attack. The land's people face conquest, and Link heads out to stop it before that power spreads across every living creature. The Legend of Zelda | NES Game came out in 1986 and became one of the NES releases that let players save progress with a named file. The quest follows the broken Triforce, split long ago into Strength, Wisdom, and Courage so its full power wouldn't fall to evil hands. That search drives Link across the land, facing enemy attacks and hunting the sacred pieces that can block Ganon's rule.
How to play?
Moving across Hyrule brings enemy encounters that hit hard when Link gets too close. Shield blocks incoming strikes, creating room to press forward through each area. Searching new places reveals the artifact trail tied to the Triforce pieces, and saved progress lets you return without losing the ground already covered. Ganon waits at the end of that path, with the fate of Hyrule resting on whether Link reaches him first.
