NES Game: Jackal

A hostage rescue unfolds on an island under terrorist control. In the NES Game: Jackal, a four-man special forces squad heads into enemy territory because captured allies are being held inside the base. An armored jeep reaches the shoreline by helicopter, and the mission pushes from the outer edge of the island toward the gang's leader. Enemy vehicles patrol the approach. A fenced compound blocks the route deeper in. Buildings hold the prisoners, and the operation ends only after the ringleader is eliminated and the squad gets out alive.

How to play?

Drive the armored jeep into enemy fire and blast nearby targets with its short-range weapon. Shoot hostile vehicles first, then break through the fence blocking the base. Fire on the buildings until they collapse and release the prisoners. Pull alongside the rescued soldiers to load them into the jeep. Lives are limited. Lose them too fast, and the operation ends before the squad can leave the island.
