NES Game: Castlevania

Night empties the streets of a town haunted by Dracula's attacks. Centuries of fear hang over the houses, and Simon Belmont walks into that darkness as the one man ready to hunt the vampire down. In the NES Game: Castlevania, the Belmont name stands against spirits, savage dogs, and other creatures waiting along the route to the castle. Simon's strength gives him the force to cut through lesser foes, but Dracula still waits at the end of the path for a final strike through the heart.

How to play?

Move through the town and surrounding areas, striking enemies that block the way and pressing forward until new sections appear. Along the route, pick up sub-weapons that change your attack options. Holy water hits targets near the ground. An axe arcs upward for enemies above, and the stopwatch freezes movement for a short stretch. Swap between these tools when the path changes, then reach Dracula and land the blade that ends the fight.
