NES Game: Mario and Yoshi

Retro puzzle action takes over the Mushroom Kingdom cast. Mario and his dinosaur pal step away from platforming for a stacking match game in the NES Game: Mario and Yoshi. Familiar faces from the Super Mario universe fall into a tall glass, piling up in pairs and filling the space fast. The retro setup borrows the feel of classic falling-block puzzles, but the pieces here are characters instead of geometric shapes. How to play?

Swap neighboring vertical columns to line up matching characters inside the glass. Groups larger than two vanish, clearing space for the next drops. Points build with every successful match. The pace increases over time, pushing characters down faster and shrinking the window for each move. Stay in control of the stack and push toward the highest level available.
