The Hamster Life

The Hamster Life throws you into an epidemic in the hamster world. A terrible virus has spread through the area, and half the animals are sick. Even worse, they have turned into zombies. Real undead, just fluffy and tiny. Now these infected creatures roam everywhere and try to bite healthy hamsters to turn them too. The survivors are hiding wherever they can, in burrows, basements, and attics, trembling with fear. They clearly can't live like this forever, so someone has to deal with these zombies once and for all. One brave hamster grabs a bat, heads out into the streets, and goes to war with the undead. You control this hero and help him clear out the zombie hamsters in this top down action game based on classic hamster games gameplay.

How to play?

Control the hamster with the arrow keys, move around the map, and zombies will crawl toward you from all sides. At first, you only have a bat, and you can't do much with just that. But you get paid for every zombie you kill. Use this money to buy better weapons like a heavier hammer, a sharp sword, and eventually even a flamethrower. All the important indicators are shown at the top of the screen. The health bar shows how much life you have left. When zombies hit you, it goes down. If it reaches zero, you die and restart the wave. The kill counter shows how many undead you have destroyed during the game. The wave task tells you how many more you still need to kill in the current wave. The wave number shows which wave you are on right now.

Once you have killed all the zombies listed in the task, the wave ends and you get a short break. Use that time to run to the store. There, you can buy a first aid kit to restore your health before the next wave, or spend your savings on a new weapon. Weapons are bought in order of their power, from weaker to stronger. Sometimes one time special bonuses appear on the level, like a motorcycle or a car with spikes. They help a lot when you are surrounded and cannot escape. With each wave, there are more zombies, and they get stronger and more aggressive. The first waves are easy, with a couple dozen weak zombies. By the tenth wave, there are already about a hundred of them, fast and tough. You will not get through them without a good weapon. If you manage to survive ten waves, you unlock a new character, a stronger hamster with more health and better starting weapons.
