My Sweet Hamster
My Sweet Hamster is a pet care game about looking after a cute, fluffy hamster. Sooner or later, a lot of kids start asking their parents, "Please buy me a hamster!" The animal is small, soft, and very cute, so it might seem like taking care of it is super easy: set up a cage, pour in some food, and you are done. In reality, even a tiny hamster needs a lot of attention, love, and care. You have to feed it on time, give it fresh water, bathe it when it gets dirty, treat it if it gets sick, and keep it entertained so it does not get bored. Many children do not realize how much responsibility a pet owner really has. This game is a good way to test yourself before asking for a real hamster. Here you can practice caring for a virtual pet and see if you can actually handle it. If you do well in the game, you can show your parents that you are responsible enough for a real animal.
On the screen, you will see a big cage with everything a hamster needs. There is a running wheel for exercise, a hospital area for when it gets sick, a bathroom for washing, a bedroom with soft bedding, and other useful spots. The hamster runs around the cage, doing its own thing, while you keep an eye on all of its needs.
How to play?
At the bottom of the screen, there is a panel with several status bars. The hunger bar shows how much the hamster wants to eat. The thirst bar shows if it needs water. The teeth bar shows whether the teeth need to be filed down. The cleanliness bar shows if it is dirty. The happiness bar shows its mood and how satisfied it is. All of these bars slowly go down over time. The hamster gets hungry, thirsty, dirty, and unhappy, and your job is to make sure none of the bars drop too low.
Watch which bar has turned red or is flashing, since that means you need to act quickly. If hunger is low, take some food from the plate so the hamster can eat. If it wants to drink, bring it to the water bowl. If it is dirty, move it to the bathroom, turn on the shower, and wash it. If it is tired, put it to bed. Happiness is a little more complicated. That bar goes up when the hamster is having fun. Send it to the running wheel so it can run, play, and become happier. When the hamster uses the toilet, take a scoop and clean up after it. The main rule is to keep all of the bars above sixty percent until the end of the level. If even one bar drops below the critical line, the hamster dies, and you have to replay the level. If you make it to the end with good status bars, you pass the level and prove that you took good care of your pet.
