Hamstix

Hamstix is a platformer game about a quick little hamster on an important mission. Trouble has hit their world, evil slugs have started hunting bats. They have locked the poor creatures in cages, scattered them across the levels, and now just sit there guarding them. Someone has to fix this. The animals held a council and chose Hamstix for the job. He is the fastest and most agile of them all, and if anyone can handle it, it is him. He accepts the task and sets off. There are twelve levels ahead, each one tougher than the last. Platforms stand at different heights, cages are stuck in hard-to-reach spots, and slugs patrol every area.

How to play?

The rescue plan is simple but risky. You have to reach each cage and push it off the platform so it breaks and the bat gets out. It sounds easy, but there are a lot of obstacles between Hamstix and the cages. Gold stars are scattered along the way, too. Grab them as well, they are an extra goal in every stage. Save all the bats and collect all the stars, and a teleport to the next level will appear. The hamster has three lives for each level. If you fall from a high platform or land on spikes, you lose one life. When you run out of all three, you have to restart that level. Boxes are another important feature. Hamstix can swallow a box whole and carry it in his stomach, then spit it out where you need it. This lets him jump up into hard-to-reach platforms.

Slugs are the main danger, but you can fight them. Use a classic platformer move, jump on an enemy from above. The slug will flatten and disappear. Just do not touch it from the side or you will get hurt. Save every prisoner in each level, collect all the stars, and help Hamstix return home with his rescued bat friends in this hamster platform game.
