Harry the Hamster

Harry the Hamster is a game about a little hamster who is terribly unlucky. The poor thing fell into the clutches of a hungry black cat, who now keeps him in a cage. Harry was peacefully walking through his usual tunnels when suddenly a huge black paw came out of nowhere and grabbed the little animal. Now he is locked up, trembling with fear, and only you can help him. In front of you is a cage in the middle of a void, surrounded by fragments of pipes and tunnels. On the other side of the chasm, you can see an image of a house—our hero's home, where he so longs to return. The task is to collect the scattered pieces of pipe to build a continuous path from the cage to the safety of home.

How to play?

Look at the screen—Harry is sitting in a cage on the left, his house is drawn on the right, and between them is a pile of different pieces of pipe scattered around. Grab any element with the mouse and drag it to the right place, connecting the parts into a single path. The pipes are straight, curved, and have turns—combine them so that you get a continuous path from point A to point B. The parts must fit together correctly, otherwise Harry will get stuck or fall into a gap. Keep an eye on the timer—the seconds are ticking away quickly. When the countdown ends, the cage door will open by itself, and the hamster will roll down your structure. If there is a hole somewhere, he will fly past it and fall down. Cat bowls are scattered across the field—avoid them when building. If Harry falls into a bowl, it's game over, and the cat will gobble him up. Plan your route so that you avoid all dangerous areas. Want some thrills? Press the early release button before the timer runs out. Harry will jump out before you're done, and you'll have to finish building the path while he's moving. Use as many details as possible in your construction—this also gives you extra points. It is not necessary to make the shortest path; you can build a winding road from many elements. In the third and fourth levels, special details appear that allow the hamster to fly over obstacles. But catch it back in the pipe on the other side, otherwise it will fall. Failed the attempt? You can replay, but all points will be reset. Save Harry, build clever tunnels, and get the poor guy home safe and sound.
