Idle Hamster Tycoon

Idle Hamster Tycoon is a casual clicker about a quirky electricity business. You take a regular hamster, give it a running wheel, hook the wheel up to a generator, and get energy from every step. The hamster runs, the wheel spins, and the generator pumps out power. Simple idea, funny setup. One hamster is not enough for a real power plant, though, and that is where your hamster tycoon journey starts. At first, you have only one worker spinning the wheel, and you earn tiny amounts of energy. Then you save up, buy a second hamster, a third, a tenth. In the end, you are running a whole hamster farm that works for you and produces megawatts of electricity in this idle hamster game.

How to play?

At the start, you see one hamster and its wheel. Click on the hamster with your mouse so it starts running and the energy meter begins to rise. Let go of the button, and the hamster stops. The faster and more often you click, the more electricity you generate. Once you have some energy saved up, open the upgrade shop. First, buy sneakers to boost its running speed. Then upgrade the wheel so it spins more easily and the hamster gets tired more slowly. That way you get more energy in the same amount of time.

When you have a solid amount of energy, begin buying extra hamsters. The second one gets its own wheel and runs alongside the first, then you add a third, fourth, fifth. Each new hamster costs more than the previous one, but your total power output jumps higher every time. All purchased hamsters can be upgraded separately. You can improve their wheels and buy them shoes. Put your upgrades into the ones that bring in the most energy. Keep an eye on the production per second counter. At first the number there is low, but as you upgrade it starts to climb, then shoot up to 10, 100, 1000, even a million units of energy per second. That is when you are running a real power plant. Log in to the game every day. When you enter, a window appears with a daily bonus. Click non stop, invest what you earn into new upgrades, expand your farm, and turn your main hamster into a real energy tycoon.
