Save The Hamster from Cat

Save the Hamster from the Cat is a light arcade puzzle game about a hungry little hamster and his risky adventure. One day, a sad hamster escapes from his cage and starts exploring the room. Walking across the floor, he spots a bowl of tasty food. It turns out to be the lunch of Proglot the cat, a big and not very friendly pet. The hamster clearly sees the cat nearby, but the food is too tempting. Hunger wins, and the tiny daredevil decides to sneak up to the bowl, but Proglot is not happy about this at all. The hamster is trying to steal his lunch, and on top of that, it looks like a nice snack itself. A real race begins. Who will get to the cherished bowl first?

How to play?

On the screen, you see three main objects: the hamster on one side, the cat Proglot on the other, and a bowl of food between them. Your job is to help the hamster reach the bowl faster than the cat. Draw a path with your finger or mouse from the hamster straight to the bowl. The line can be any shape, straight, curved, or with turns. Do not run into the walls, or you lose. Think about the shortest route, because the shorter the path, the faster the hamster will run.

While you are drawing, nobody moves. As soon as you release your finger or mouse button, both characters start running at the same time. The cat follows its own automatic route, and the hamster runs exactly along the line you drew. If the hamster reaches the bowl first, you win. The level is completed, and the next one unlocks. If the cat Proglot is faster and catches the hamster, you lose. Then you have to try again and draw a better path. You might need to make the line shorter or pick another direction to go around obstacles.

With each new task, the layout gets more complicated. More walls appear, the bowl ends up in a tricky spot, and the distance between the characters changes. If a level seems too hard and you cannot beat it, there is a skip button. You can move on and come back to the tough level later. Try different routes, look for the best solution, and keep saving the brave hamster from the hungry cat, Proglot, again and again in this hamster puzzle game.
