Royal Checkers

Set your pieces on the 8x8 board and play a classic duel of black against black in Royal Checkers. This board game stays close to the old rules that made checkers popular for generations. Pick a solo match against computer AI or share the board with another person on the same device. Win by clearing the opposing side off the board until only your pieces remain.

How to play?

Drag a checker diagonally forward into an open dark square. Regular pieces move one space at a time, only on the forward diagonal. Jump over an opposing piece to remove it from play when the landing square is empty. Reaching the far edge crowns that piece a king. Kings can travel diagonally forward or backward, which gives you more ways to attack and block. Players move in alternating turns.
