I Know Where You Live
“I Know Where You Live” is a psychological horror novella about a streamer whose cozy life gradually turns into a source of anxiety. Asya, an artist, recently moved into a new apartment and now spends her evenings doing chat streams. A lamp illuminates the room, a cup of tea sits nearby, and viewers chat in the chat window. Everything seems comfortable and laid-back—until one of the subscribers starts writing things that a random stranger shouldn’t know. He notices objects in the room as if he knows the girl’s daily routine, and even mentions events she hasn’t told anyone about. At first, you might dismiss it as a strange coincidence, but with each new message, it becomes harder and harder to convince yourself that there’s no cause for concern.
The entire story unfolds right on Asya’s computer screen, so you’ll have to piece together what’s happening through live streams, chats, emails, and files. Over the course of three days and two live streams, you’ll learn more about the protagonist’s life, her loved ones, and the mysterious viewer. At the same time, the danger isn’t always obvious. Sometimes a troubling detail is hidden in an ordinary message or a photo’s properties. Your decisions influence what Asya tells her audience, whom she trusts, and what information she chooses to ignore. The game has no screamers, but the tension builds slowly and relentlessly, and the story can lead to one of three endings. Hidden achievements and a 2048 mini-game also await you. Just remember: if someone knows too much about you, it’s worth wondering where they got that information.
How to Play?
You won’t be controlling Anya herself, but rather her computer. Several apps are available on the desktop, and each one helps you uncover a new part of the story. Open “Glitch” to stream, read viewer messages, and choose responses for the chat. In “Pavelgram,” message your mom, dad, friend, and the moderator. Check your email, read incoming messages, and don’t overlook any that seem suspicious. The gallery contains files that can reveal additional details. Switch between apps, read dialogues, and decide how Asya will react to what’s happening. Don’t just skim through messages. Pay attention to the wording, cross-reference information from different sources, and check file properties. Sometimes that’s exactly where important clues are found. Think about whether it’s worth sharing personal details during a livestream and who you can trust in your messages. The answers you choose are saved and influence how the story unfolds, so even a casual conversation can turn out to be significant for the ending. When you’ve finished your tasks for the day, click “Go to Sleep” on the taskbar to move on to the next stage of the story. If you’re not sure where to go next, use a hint. Explore the computer carefully, gather scattered clues, and figure out who’s behind the alarming messages before the third night arrives.
