A Knock on the Door is a psychological horror game where every decision you make is worth its weight in gold. You find yourself the owner of a guest house in a world engulfed by endless night. Here, your actions and decisions will help you separate the living from the dead and prevent the deaths of innocents. The energy you use to check your guests is limited, and you need to use it wisely. Although you can sleep and replenish your energy reserves, it is still better to be careful. Visitors knocking on your door may be ordinary people or dangerous Whisperers — creatures that bring death if you let them into your house.

How to play

Each new visitor who comes to you brings with them mysteries and dangers. Carefully examine each one: their hands, hair, lips. This is necessary in order to find even the slightest anomalies that may reveal their true nature. You will have a database of people's profiles at your disposal for inspection. But it is not perfect, and sometimes you will have to rely solely on your intuition. However, be careful, because each inspection takes away your strength, and you will have to decide whether to check the next guest or leave them alone.
